Yesterday and today walked the north Dunes
yesterday got to see a Firecrest today Goldcrest
short-eared Owl came passed Skylark back in Dunes
missed Lapland Bunting heard today not seen yet.

Marsh Harriers Common Buzzard Brent geese north

was up still and ready for the moon to change colour
then in the morning at 8am south Dunes then Totam pole area.

Dungeness

After walking North Dunes I got a call
from Jake about a Flycatcher that Martin has found by the fishing boats
at this time not shore on what American Flycatcher it was left at 11.30am
I got in the car and headed to Norwich to pick Jake up we
headed to Dungeness arriving just after 3pm watched it a few time
then moved on so others could see it on the way back stopping
to see the Wilson's Phalarope but distant as expected.
ACADIAN FLYCATCHER is what it turned out to be and lovely to.
A BIG WELL DONE to Martin putting so many hours at Dung great job.

Saturday trip out with NG Birders

Started with the Osprey at Lyng and Grey wag flow over.
as we arrived at Titchwell 2 Hobby's over the car so stopped for a better look.
Titchwell 2 Little stints Little grebe Pochard and red-crested pochard
redpoll over call only 3 Spoonbills lots of Bearded tits calling.
At Holkham park Black tern Nuthatch Pink-footed geese over head
a few Buzzards moving through high.
finished the day at Cromer with chips for the Gull's of course lol.

Went late morning to Cley NWT
not a lot about numbers of Wigeon arriving
an saw 5 Greenshank 2 Green sandpipers 2 marsh harriers
2 kestrel 1 Hobby 1 Sparrowhawk 2 Ringed plover 3 dunlin.

Started in the South Dunes
looking for the Bluethroat with Alastair Gray at 7am
no show today Wryneck sat up
in a few place's with lots of birds feeding in the morning
Spotted fly black caps whitethroats chiffchaff and willow warblers
Song thrush whinchat and stonechat Wheatear's Pied fly North Dunes
in the afternoon Redstarts north and south Dunes Lesser whitethroat south Dunes.
