Strumpshaw Fen RSPB

Warmed up mid morning
saw my first two Swallowtails then one sat
about twenty feet away about 4 Scarce Chasers
third go I got to see the Osprey that's been catching
fish like pike on the fen.

Patrick found a Bee-Eater last night that went to roost in the trees
by the Paddocks so a Early start as I arrived at 5.20 the bird came to the wire at 5.27am
for over a hour it feed being chased off a few times mostly Jackdaws but a sparrow hawk
tried once.

then Cuckoo went over and sat in a tree nearby
Lesser Whitethroats and Whitethroats blackcaps
Long tailed tits feeding chicks.
North Little Terns getting loader over 100 now
2 Wheatears a few ringed plovers on beach.

A few good day around the Rainy days

I Found a Male Monty Harrier yesterday heading home was Luck on timing
seeing the yellow wagtails nice as rain stopped
me short today. Third  go for the green sandpiper
at Cley NWT starting early did it.
