Gargany & Lapland Buntings

This last week I have seen some very nice birds
at Strumpshaw fen Garganey showed great and Cetti's
today Lapland Buntings showed well.

A few hours at John Stanton's hides at Miller's wood Sussex

Arrived late had 2 hours to see what John has done at his wood.

Nice sunny day sitting in the wood at Strumpshaw fen
with Bull finch Treecreeper Jays Marsh tit Robins singing
Gt spot wood hammering.

She arrived as I opened the shutter on a hide at cley.

First walk of the year at Winterton

Numbers of Snow Bunting
are climbing first 48 then next count 58
as I left looked like more arrived.
Then a Shag drifted passed going north to Horsey

Brancaster staithe and Thornham

On the 20th December
Went birding north Norfolk
to see a Red-necked Grebe at Brancaster Staithe that showed then moved out of site.
then went to see Twite at Thornham near Titchwell 14 in one group at Barn two with rings on
one yellow orange left leg yellow metal right leg the other Red metal 38 left yellow black right.
