Winterton sea watch

Sea watch from about 6.30 to 10am
4 Arctic Skua's south at 8am 6 common scoter north
sandwich little and common terns around some waders
passing small numbers.

Winterton Dunes

Had a Nice walk in the Dunes
meeting some local birders Barry & Colin
and Tim the other day on his bike.
a good number of young Natterjack Toads
in one pool 3 Different birds of prey Kestrel
Marsh Harrier an Red Kite Green woodpecker
with young Yellowhammers 7 Grayling small heath
Meadow brown  a few Dragon-Damselfly's about
with Brown Hawker the biggest and Blue-tailed Damselfly
the smallest.

Snettisham

Arrived at Snettisham RSPB at 8.15am
with the hope of seeing the Broad-billed Sandpiper
Turtle dove around calling as I got in the Hide
their was about 300 to check through a hour later
it was seen at Rotary hide so as I arrived they flow as the tide
moved out again. Then a Sparrow hawk court a Dunlin.

Titchwell RSPB

Arrived at Snettisham RSPB after 12am
but to late for the Broad-billed Sandpiper
that had flow about three miles out on the mud
no chance at that distance large numbers of swallows on the wire here.
Moved on to Titchwell
for the afternoon with views of Bearded tit Little stint's
Spotted redshank Avocet Curlew sandpiper Dunlin Spoonbill med Gull.

Cley NWT

Got to Cley at 710am
& missed the wood Sandpiper by 10 mins
two Green sandpipers plus a Common Sandpiper
a Garganey 7 spoonbills 5 little gulls 5+ LRP's
very nice morning birding.

Strumpshaw fen

A Afternoon at RSPB Strumpshaw

With 3 juv marsh Harriers playing two adults with them
a kingfisher Hobby juv Mute Swan Bearded tit's flying from reed bed to reed bed
lots of dragonflies a mink was seen bye a group.

Winterton

I had a two hour walk in Winterton sand Dunes
where their was some Grayling and small heath
as I got to the pools that are for the natterjack toads
with a Grass snake sitting in the water with tad poles
swimming around the edge.
