Glaucous Gull's

The start of this year we have been seeing a Glaucous Gull
passing for a Few weeks these last few days in the afternoon
there has been two seen at the first rocks. Winterton on the
beach a dead seal is on high tide line.

White-Billed Diver at Bardney Lincolnshire

Waited for the fog to go so left at 10.20am
about 2.30 hour drive to Lincolnshire.
The White-billed Diver can do 50m underwater
at a time so waiting down river works most of the time
about a 4 mile walk to start and find others watching the Diver.
Not a new bird for me but to see one so close is a must.

Miller's Wood Handcross Sussex

Over Christmas I went and had a few hours at Miller's Wood
with John Stanton His working so hard to make his wood so
good to get a nice close up and experience for Photography.

Hume's Leaf Warbler

Barry Jarvis one of the Winterton birders
found  this Hume's at Scratby hall
its taken two day to get any photo's
of this bird not easy to get on this one.

Dusky Thrush in Beeley Derbyshire

Went to see the Dusky Thrush
that was Id on Sunday through photo
so Tuesday got their at 12 o/clock
an see it at just after 1pm feeding
from the soccer pitch for 5 mins
then was elusive.

Jack Snipe

I found a Jack Snipe in the North Dunes
this morning Got close but made shore It didn't
get Flushed. left it as found it hunkered down using its Camo
as they do.So we can't see them.

Had the morning at Needham Market
With this Beautiful Bird all morning
feeding on grubs small fish water snails
move under the water catching as it went.
